fakery

All songs were written, recorded and played by fakery, unless otherwise noted.

Newtown Radio:fakery was on Newtown Radio (www.newtownradio.com) on March 23, 2011. There were some sound issues but what can you do. You can listen to most of the tracks here: LISTEN
Lil Drummer Boy:Recorded this Xmas of 2010. It's a personal favorite though and good year round. Actually really got into this song back in the mid 90's when Flaming Lips included it on Providing Needles for your Balloons LISTEN
Atlantic City:Cover of the Bruce Springsteen song of the same name. Recorded in fall 2010 after pretty much only listening to Nebraska for a few weeks. Words and Music by Bruce Springsteen LISTEN
Crud: this was recorded in 2009 with TB on drums. Lyrics were written by a fellow STW writer. There is an acoustic version as well which will be put up at some point. LISTEN

Song B: this is an old song from late 2004 early 2005 that I just re-recorded in March 2010. Some will probably know this. LISTEN

I am not Sick: I wrote and recorded this song when I was home sick for a week with strep throat. I used an old 80s electro-harmonix drum machine with a space drum. I want to start using that a lot more. LISTEN

Living Dead: Zombies. TB on drums. LISTEN

Boy.Girl: uke and ending love and whining. LISTEN

Rainbows & Sunshines: ok this song is going back to 2004. TM wrote most of lyrics and sang. When this song came out it pretty much blew up all over the place. LISTEN

Econometrix: this was another jam done back in 2004 L'a.z. and I wrote the lyrics and both did the vocals. L'a.z. helped with the sick beats too. LISTEN

Robotness: I did this song while still living in Philadelphia, probably in early 2007. This was a try at a more electronic song with robot sounds per encouragement from a robot friendly friend. LISTEN

Rambow: I wrote this song in 2008. Not much of a story here. TB on drums. LISTEN

Chinaski: Here is song from a weekend in 2006 when Culkin Smith and I got together to write and record. He was too hungover on the couch, so this really just solo me with Smith's input limited to, no you just do that part, I will get up in a few minutes to help. This is still one of my favorite songs.
