fakery and Culkin Smith started making music together in middle school, which is the last time we lived remotely close to each other. Since then, we continue to make music on our own and try to get together once a year to record.

With the start of stoptheweakness, we have also been contacting artists we like to see if they'd want to collaborate on songs to accompany interviews etc. for the site. This seemed far fetched, but artists have responded positively and you can hear the results below.
